piritExchangeprogram.Thecross-culturaleducationalexperiencefocusesontheMississippiandChina’slongestriver,

theYangtze.Thisthreedayget-togetherfeaturedstory-telling,campingandcanoeing(划独木舟).It’spartofalargerlessonaboutconservationproje

ctsthatcanbeusedonboththeYangtzeandMississippi.AfterthegroupmetattheCraneFoundationpreserve,theyheadedsouthtoanareaoftheKickapooRiver,wherea20-

yearconservationprotectedthenaturalsettingofthewaterway.TheeffortwasledbythedirectoroftheLowerWisconsinStateRiverwayBoard.Hetoldthegrouphe
