hisisquiterelevanttotakingadvantageofanewsourceforwater.”Otherkindsofmaterials,suchassaltsorhydrogels,cannotoperateinextremeweatherconditions,inanene
rgy-efficientmannerandwithahighcapacityallatonce.ThenewMOF-poweredharvesterscanbeanexceptionallypowerfultooltoaddresswatersho
rtageissuesrelatedtoanythingfromdrinkingwatertoagriculture.Thistechnologycanalsobeusedtosecurepurewaterinareaswherewat
erisplentifulbutnotclean.It’salsoextremelyefficientatharvestingwater,releasingasdrinkingwater85to90percentofthewateritcapt
uresasatmosphericvapor.Itharvestedupto285gramsofwaterperkilogramofthemetal-organicframeworkinaday,theamountofa
