iesofupto50words.Andthedistributionofthese“fungalwordlengths”closelymatchedthoseofhumanlanguages.Assumingthatspikesofelec

tricalactivityareusedbyfungitocommunicate,wedemonstratethatdistributionsoffungalwordlengthsmatchthatofhumanlanguages,”hesaid.

“Wefoundthatthesizeoffungalvocabularycanbeupto50words,however,thecorevocabularyofmostfrequentlyusedwordsdoesnotexceed15
