ishow"real"thedecisionfeels.Weaskedparticipantstodescribehowrealadecisionfelt,aswellastheextenttowhichtheyperc
eivedthedecisionasrepresentingwhotheywore,andtheyconsistentlyindicatedthatmakingachoiceonpaperfeltmorereal
andrepresentativethanmakingthesamedecisiononadigitaldevice.Follow-upanalysesconfirmedthatwhenadecisionfeltmorerealparticipantsweremor
