stsassessingmemory,reasoningandverbalskills.Theyfacedmemoryexercises,spatialreasoningtasks,pattern-findingpuzzlesandstrategychallenges.Whenr
esearcherslookedattheresults,theysawthatbraintrainersonaveragehadnomentaledgeovertheothergroupinmemory,verbalskillsandreasoning.Eve
namongthosewhohadusedtrainingprogramsforatleast18months,braintrainingdidn'tboostthinkingabilitiesabovethelevelofpeoplewhodidn'tusethepr
ograms.“Nomatterhowweslicedthedata,wewereunabletofindanytestimonythatbraintrainingwasassociatedwithc
