,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten,eleven,twelve。(2)13—19的基数词以-teen结尾[典例]fourteen,seventeen等,但13,15,18较特殊,13—thirteen15—fifte

成分。【用法】①作定语:介词短语在句中作定语时,放在所修饰的名词之后。e.g.HeisthemonitorofClassFour.他是四班班长。②作状语:介词短语作状语,用来修饰句中的动词。e.g.Wedoeyeexercisesatnineeverymorn
ing.我们每天上午九点钟做眼保健操。△注意:在含有介词短语作状语的句子中,状语按照先地点(由小到大),再方式,最后时间(由小到大)的顺序排列。e.g.HearrivedinParisbyairat9:00.他9点钟乘飞机到了巴黎。③作表语:介词短语作表语时往往与连系
动词一起使用。e.g.Itsoundslikefun.这听起来很有趣。【常用介词的用法比较】常用表示时间的介词一、at,on,in(A)at表示“在某一时刻,某一时点”。如:Igetupat6:00everyday.我每天6点起床。注:at
daybreak在黎明;atnoon在中午;atnight在夜间;atChristmas在圣诞节期间;attheageoffive在五岁时。★(B)on表示“在具体某一天或某天的早,中,晚,以及被修饰的
早,中,晚。如:Iheardashoton(themorningof)March18.三月十八日(早晨)我听到一声枪响。Wedon’thaveclassesonSunday.星期天我们不上课。(C)in表示“在某世纪、年、季度、月、周”以及泛指的上、下午、晚上。如:inthe20th
century在20世纪;in1999在1999年;inwinter在冬季;inSeptember在九月;inthemorning/afternoon/evening在上午/下午/晚上。如:Theyworkedhardthrou
ghthewinter.整个冬天他们都在努力工作。二、from,since,for(A)from表示“时间的起点”,可译作“从……”,多用于“from…to/till…”中。如:YoucancomeanytimefromMondaytoFriday.周一至周五你什么时间来都行。
(B)since表示“自从……以来(直到现在)”。如:Hehasbeenawayfromhomesince1973.他自从1973年就离开了家乡。Wehaveknowneachothersinceteny
earsago.我们十年前就认识了。(C)for后接“一段时间”,表示某事持续多久,多与完成时连用。如:Shehasbeenillforseveraldays.她已经病了几天了。★注意:for和since都常与完成时连用,但for接时间段,since
接时间点。如:fortwohours(持续)两小时;sincelastweek从上周直到现在。三、before,by,till,until(A)before指“在……之前”,与after相对。如:Plea
secomebeforeteno’clock.请10点以前来。(B)by指“不迟于,到……时为止,在……以前”。如:Wehadlearnedover1000wordsbytheendoflastterm.到上学期末为止,我们已
经学了1000多个单词了。Wewillhavelearned2000Englishwordsbytheendofthisterm.到本学期结束前,我们将学了两千英语单词了。★注:by后接过去时间,常与过去完成时连用;by后接将来时间,常与将来完成时连用。(C)till(until)“直到……为
止”。如:Youmustwaitforhimtilltomorrow.你必须一直等到他明天。注:在肯定句中,till/until必须与延续动词连用;在否定句中,till/until常与非延续性动词连用。如:Ididn’tgotobedun
til12o’clock.直到12点我才睡。四、after,in,within(A)after表示“在……之后”,是before的反义词。如:Hegotacanceranddiedafterayear.他患了癌症,一年后去世了。Themeeting
willendafter3:00pm.会议将在下午三点后结束。(B)in表示以此时此刻为起点的将来的一个时间段之后,常与将来时态的谓语动词连用。注意:inthepast意为“在过去”,与过去时连用;“in
thepast/last+时间段”,意为“在过去的……中”,表示从现在算起的过去的一段时间,包括此时此刻在内,常与现在完成时连用。如:Inthepastfewyears,greatchangeshavetakenplaceino
urschool.在过去的几年中,我们学校的变化很大。★注:after与in都可表示“在……之后”,但after后可跟时间段,也可跟时间点;而in后必须跟时间段。after既可用于将来时,也可用于过去时,而in只能用于将来时。(C)wit

C)towards意为“朝、向”,只说明运动的方向,没有“到达”的意思。△比较:towards仅指朝着某个方向,不一定是目的地;to指到目的地;for指向目的地,且常用于leavefor;startfor等固定
搭配中。六、past,across,through,over(A)past指“经过”。如:Theywalkedpastatalltree.他们从一棵大树旁走过。★(B)across表示“横穿”某一平面,或“横过”某一线形物。如:Pipescarryoil
acrossthedesert.管道将石油输送过沙漠。It’sdangeroustorunacrossthebusyroad.跑着穿越繁忙的马路是很危险的。★(C)through指从某物的内部“穿过”
。如:Ittookustenminutestodrivethroughthetunnel.开车穿过这条隧道花了我们10分钟时间。(D)over指“越过”某一障碍物。如:Thebearwentoverthemountain.熊翻越了高山。表示工具或手段的介词:by,with,in,on1.by用
某种方式,多用于交通。如:bybus乘公共汽车,bye-mail.通过电子邮件。注意:表示搭乘交通工具时,用by时不用冠词,用in时要用冠词。请比较:Iwenttherebybus/inabus.我是坐公共汽车去的那儿。★2.with表示“用某种工具”。如:Hebrokethewindowwith
astone.他用石头把玻璃砸坏了。注意:with表示用某种工具时,必须用冠词或物主代词。★3.in表示用某种材料或语言。如:Pleasefillintheforminpencilfirst.请先用铅笔填写这个表格。TheytalkinEnglish.他们用英语交谈。注意:in指用材料,不用
冠词;而with指用工具,要用冠词。请比较:drawinpencil/drawwithapencil。4.on表示“以……方式”,多用于固定词组。如:Theytalkedonthetelephone.他们通过电话进行交谈。She
