hescientistswhohadstudiedtheproblem,andcitizenswholivednearthedam,thegovernmentturnedtotheUnitedNationsforhelpin1959.Whydid

theEgyptiangovernmentwanttobuildanewdam?Didpeoplesupporttheproposal?Why(not)?Whatdidthegovernmentdotodealwiththeproblem?ProblemGener
